About
Designer by craft. Founder by conviction.
I am Ishtiaq Shaheer — most people call me Ish. A designpreneur: part designer, part entrepreneur, fully allergic to products that need a manual. I have spent more than ten years turning complicated software into things people actually finish using — and built three companies on the way.
My work sits at the point where business logic meets human patience. Fintech onboarding, enterprise dashboards, e-commerce, hospitality — the industries change, the problem does not: people abandon what they cannot understand.
Before founding anything, I worked in enterprise UX at NTT DATA. Since then I have led design for products across India, the US, UK and UAE — from a 52-screen fintech app to a luxury hospitality brand with four heritage properties — while building Desisle, ProdXVerse and TechProductIndia.
Outside product work, I paint and I write. My book, Don’t Quit Yet, is for the builders who are one bad quarter away from giving up. Painting taught me restraint. Writing taught me sequence. Founding taught me stakes. All three show up in every interface I design.
- 01 Clarity beats cleverness
- 02 Ship the boring version first
- 03 Interfaces should not need manuals
- 04 Restraint is a feature
